She helps creators reclaim their brilliance and break through creative paralysis. 

She’s the go-to STRATEGIC CONSULTANT and COACH for the LIVE events world, blending decades of hands-on mastery in planning, design, and production as well as an elite-level expertise in threat, risk, and crisis management—and the security strategies that keep high-stakes events not only gorgeous but SAFE, and flawless.

As a VISIONARY EVENT PRODUCER  she seamlessly bridges the gap between design and production, crafting extraordinary experiences that captivate and inspire.  Her extensive portfolio includes luxury weddings, lavish celebrations, and high-profile corporate meetings and events ranging from intimate gatherings to productions for over 2,000 guests. Whether called in at the very beginning, at the eleventh hour or amid unraveling chaos, she’s known for delivering VIP events with exacting detail and unflinching poise under pressure.

She holds a Paralegal degree, a Certificate in Meeting Management from Temple University and is a Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP) from the International LIVE Events Association (ILEA). Her dedication to excellence has earned her numerous accolades, including Best Event Design, Best Wedding, Best Event Décor, Best Audio Visual Support, and the prestigious J. Robert Graves Award.

A LEADER  in the industry, Kris has served as President  for multiple terms of both the South Jersey and Greater Philadelphia chapters of ILEA, spent over a decade on the Board of Directors for the Philadelphia Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (PAMPI), and served on the Board of Directors for the LIVE Events Coalition of Philadelphia that formed during Covid-19. 

She is the FOUNDER  and DRIVING FORCE  behind an innovative restaurant concept.  KrisSumey has always believed that experiences have the power to lift people up.

When the world shut down during the pandemic, the LIVE Events industry collapsed overnight—taking with it the career she had spent decades building through her company, Event FX Productions.

Instead of waiting for life to return to normal, Krissie decided to create something people needed right then. So she built a boardwalk. Not the ocean kind—but the feeling of one. With no restaurant background, no roadmap, and not a dime to spare, she opened Boardwalk Vegan in Havertown, Pennsylvania—a joyful boardwalk-inspired restaurant built during one of the hardest moments her community had ever faced. It wasn’t just about food. It was about bringing back a feeling.

The smell of boardwalk fries and cotton candy. Doo-wop music in the background. Pizza, hoagies, and shore classics—reimagined through a bold plant-based lens.

In a time when people felt isolated and uncertain, Boardwalk Vegan became the neighborhood "Happy Place" .Because sometimes the most powerful thing you can build is a place that makes people feel happy again.
